Lynden Cottage was built on part of Pear Tree Cottages garden
for John Glyn-Jones, brother of Muriel Glyn-Jones, he designed this house to
"fit around his furniture".
John was one of the many BBC Radio and TV personalities who
came to live in the Hambleden Valley - you may have seen his name on the credits
of Shakesperian productions and as Mr Growser in childrens' Toy Town broadcasts.
